The Void Reasons section in the DoBites platform allows restaurants and cafés to maintain full control and transparency over order cancellations or voids. Instead of deleting an order without context, managers can specify a clear reason.


Notes
This helps track operational issues, identify repeated problems, and ensure accountability across branches and employees.

Adding structured void reasons also improves reporting and provides valuable insights for management when analyzing order flow, customer experience, or staff performance.




Field-by-Field Explanation

  1. Code*

    • A unique identifier for the reason.

    • Example: VR001 or simply 1.

    • Must be unique across all reasons.

  2. NameEn*

    • The void reason name in English.

    • Example: “Customer Cancelled” / “Out of Stock”.

  3. NameAr*

    • The void reason name in Arabic.

    • Example: “إلغاء من العميل” / “نفاد الصنف”.

  4. Description*

    • A short explanation of the void reason.

    • Example: “Order cancelled by customer before preparation started” or “Item unavailable at the branch”.

Actions

  • Save (blue button): Confirms and saves the new void reason into the system.

  • Close (red button): Exits without saving changes.
