QuoteThe Items List screen is used to manage all restaurant products or dishes within the DoBites platform. From this screen, administrators can add new items, edit existing ones, classify them under different categories, and link each item with a Deyafa Item Code to ensure proper integration with the POS system and aggregators such as Talabat.



When you click on Item and press Add Item, a pop-up window appears with the following fields:


🔸 Code: A unique code used internally to identify the item.

🔸 Calories: Number of calories for the item (optional).

🔸 Title En: Name of the item in English as shown in the menu.

🔸 Title Ar: Name of the item in Arabic as shown in the menu.

🔸 Category: The category under which the item is listed.

🔸 Order By: Determines the display order within the category.

🔸 Description En: Short description in English (optional).

🔸 Description Ar: Short description in Arabic (optional).

🔸 Ingredients En: Details of ingredients in English (optional).

🔸 Ingredients Ar: Details of ingredients in Arabic (optional).

🔸 Deyafa Category Code: Category code used for Deyafa integration.

🔸 Deyafa Item Code: Item code used for Deyafa integration.

🔸 Special Tax: Custom tax rate if this item has a specific rate.

🔸 Item Tax Percent: The default tax percentage for this item.

🔸 Configuration: Checkbox options including:

- Show on front page rotator
- Most popular
- Is Deyafa Normal Sub
- Inactive

Warning
Missing Item and Size Codes: The item is missing a Deyafa item code or size codes.
Show on front rotator: Option to determine whether the item should be displayed on the front rotator (featured/slider).
🔸 Last Show On Front Page: Date after which the item stops showing on the homepage.

🔸 Show On: Select whether to show the item on Mobile App, Website, or both.

🔸 Image: Upload an image to represent the item in the menu.

🔸 Start Time: Time from which this item becomes visible.

🔸 End Time: Time at which this item is hidden


Notes
Sync to Aggregator :
Click the 'Sync to Aggregator' button.
  - This sends the entire menu automatically to ll active aggregators (e.g., Talabat, Mrsool).



Image Upload:
Browse (for item photo): Upload an image that represents the item.

Notes

The Sizes screen is used to manage different sizes of the same menu item (e.g., Large, Medium, Small) and define the price for each size. It allows adding multiple sizes per item and linking each size with a Deyafa Category Code and Deyafa Item Code to ensure proper integration with the Deyafa POS system.

Fields Explanation

  • Size + Price: Displays the item size (Large/Medium/Small) along with its price in EGP.

  • Deyafa Category Code: The category code for the item in the Deyafa POS system.

  • Deyafa Item Code: The unique item code for the specific size in the Deyafa POS system.

Buttons & Actions

  • + Add Item Size: To add a new size with its price.

  • + Add Choice: To add extra options (e.g., cheese, sauce) associated with the selected size.

  • Edit Item Size: To modify the details of the current size (such as price or codes).

  • Duplicate Item Size: To copy the same size with identical settings (can be edited after duplication).

  • Actions (icons next to each choice):

    • ✏️ Edit the choice.

    • ❌ Delete the choice.

    • 🔄 Duplicate the choice.


At the upper-right corner of the pop-up, you’ll find two options:
Save Menu Item: Click to save the new item.
Cancel: Exit without saving changes.
